Feminization is the practice of changing the gender of a male submissive. It is widely practiced within femdom and is also known by the term sissification. In some cases, males take on feminine characteristics like walking a certain way, posture, and mannerisms. Cross-dressing is almost always incorporated with feminization, as it is seen as the first step in emasculation.

Different costumes show different levels of feminization. In some cases an outdated costume resembling servitude is used in order to convey the point that the sub-male isn’t worth the wearing of up to date feminine clothing. Other situations find sub-males dressed in full up to date regalia, sporting everything from modern dresses to mini-skirts.

Degradation through naming is also done during feminization. Men are called “good girls” and “whore” depending on the dominant female’s position towards them.

Extreme feminization sometimes has women use a strap-on dildo and practice anal sex with the man, completely removing his masculinity.
