Definition
Plastic wrap is a thin plastic film typically used to seal food containers. Sold in rolls, it is known for its ability to cling to various surfaces. Due to its pliability and ability to cling to the skin plastic wrap is often used in the BDSM practice of mummification. In mummification the whole body is wrapped tightly in plastic wrap as a way to create sensory deprivation. Plastic wrap also comes in a variety of colors, which adds to its appeal. Plastic wrap is known as cling film in the UK and cling wrap in Australia.
Safety Concerns
Always remember to allow for air passage when binding an individual. This is especially important when using plastic wrap as a person could easily suffocate.
