A prostate massage is the stimulation of the prostate also known as the P-spot or male G-spot. This is often done for sexual purposes although it can also be done for medical reasons. The prostate is a key contributor in the male orgasm. It can be easily stimulated manually as it is located adjacently to the rectum. Prostate massage can be a part of sex or it can be done as part of masturbation. It is a common practice in the gay community although it is becoming more accepted among heterosexual males.

Prostate milking is another type of prostate massage practiced among the BDSM community. This form of massage isn’t done to achieve orgasm but to relieve the buildup of seminal fluids within the prostate. Health Concerns

Any type of prostate massage can carry a risk. Bacteria or cancer cells may be liberated and spread through the blood stream. An internal massage may also result in perforation of bowel and/or contamination.
